Berganacatole

The berganacatole biscuits are made from the combination between nacatole biscuits, a typical carnival Calabrian pastry, and bergamot essence. La Cascina 1899 has been dedicated to the creation of these sweets by covering the nacatole with bergamot paste thus creating a soft and delicate dough on the inside, and crunchy on the outside. A combination of intense harmony and delicious flavours.

Covered Figs

Figs are summer fruits rich in vitamins. To be able to continue to enjoy them even after their fruitful period with a flavor coming from the Calabrian lands, La Cascina 1899 has decided to prepare them with dark chocolate, in these very pretty baskets, remaining in the tradition of the specialties of Reggio Calabria thus creating these sweets to be enjoyed after meals or with friends during an afternoon break The figs used to prepare these products are strictly of PDO origin.

Bergamot flavoured Cantuccini biscuits and Amaretti biscuits

The amaretti are small almond paste sweets that are much loved and popular in many Italian regions There are several variations. Ours is obtained thanks to the combination of the sweet peeled almonds and our fabulous bergamot essence, giving life to another specialty of our company.
